My godchild Nick was born 3 days before Dwayne's dad passed away from cancer.
So, I did not get to see him much passed the birth.
After things settleed down a little, we went to go visit Jen, Dominick & baby Nick in Baton Rouge so Emily could play with her new cousin and I could have him to myself...that is when my mom and dad relinquished him. She loved being around Nick but was a little too excited at times...I think she overwhelmed him a little.
